Data we collect

WorldCalculators.org collects no personally identifiable information. We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal details to use any of our calculators.

Our web server may receive standard HTTP request logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL, and page visited) as a normal part of operating any website. These logs are not linked to any individual, are not stored beyond standard server log retention periods, and are not sold or shared with third parties.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics, advertising, or any other purpose. We do not use session cookies, persistent cookies, or any browser storage that identifies you across sessions.

Some calculators use sessionStorage temporarily to prevent repeated redirects within a single browsing session (for example, on the BMI calculator, to avoid redirecting to a country-specific page more than once per session). This data exists only in your browser, is never sent to us, and is cleared when you close the browser tab.

Analytics

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party analytics or advertising tracking service. We do not build advertising profiles or sell data.

Third-party services

The BMI calculator optionally queries the ipapi.co API to detect your country and redirect you to a country-specific BMI page. This request may expose your IP address to ipapi.co. The redirect only happens once per session and only occurs if your country has a dedicated BMI page.

The Currency Converter may use an external exchange rate API to fetch live rates. No personal data is transmitted in these requests.

GDPR and international privacy laws

Because we collect no personal data, many provisions of GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws do not apply in the traditional sense — there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you have any privacy concerns, please contact us at the address below.

Children

We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. Our site does not require registration or personal information from any user.

We will update this page if our data practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when this policy was last revised.
